Jeez Mike, I was hoping you'd show up and turn blue/green again.

Postby nydle28011 » Sun Feb 04, 2007 10:15 pm

It was fun even though I did freeze my sak off. My first QC ice bowl and hopefully many more to come. Want to thank Paul and the crew for making sure everyone was staying warm and the hot chocolate.

Ok, Now that I am all warmed up and can move my fingers to type, here are the results from the Ice Bowl. There were 14 players in all that raised 5 grocery bags of food and $55.00 for the St. Ambrose Church food pantry in Milan, IL. The thermometer in my truck never budged off of ZERO all day! Congrats to everyone that braved the weather and finished a grueling round.

1st- Kirk "K-Ramz" Ramirez & Charlie Slocum, -2 (CTP Throw off)

2nd- Pat "Caker" Baumunk & Justin "Pudd" Rudd, -2

3rd- Paul "PK" Kenney & T.J. Nydle, even

4th- Matt "House" Hauser & Shawn "Paul" Quiroz, +2

5th- Casey Armstrong & Jamey "Fat Boss" Linville, +3

6th- Kathy Betcher & Mike Friestad, +5

7th- Rick "Orv" Holmquist & Frank "The Tank" Brown, +6

I would like to thank Reed and RJ from B&B for the help and CTP's, Chase and Jessica from the Iron Lion for the CTP's and food donation, my Dad, Mr. Bill for bringing out the 4-wheeler and his help, Mom for donating the hot chocolate and coffee, and Tim Miller, Orv, and Caker for their generous cash donations.
