Winter Blaster - Twin cities

Anyone hitting this up? I pre registered. The course looks sweat (a nice myspace display). I was also wondering if anyone knows what else to do up there. Obviously the Mall (not going). I Saturday night and all day Sunday to do stuff.

I played PBR Pines the last time I visited the girlfriend. The course is pretty "sweet" (The "sweaty" pictures must be on another page). Think mostly short but unique holes through pine stands and oak groves surrounded by a marsh. I wanted to go, but I'll just defer the victory to TG the TD.

If you aren't into hunting, ice fishing, skiing, or watching a really bad NFL team in a dive bar with summer-toothed country boys, there's not a heck of lot out there for you in terms of other recreational outlets. If you do venture out, don't blame me if you wake up next to a lumberjack on Sunday morning: The women in Minnesota are uglier than the women in Iowa!

Probably one of the coldest rounds I've played. Players waters were freezing and Mike's Throttle Energy Drink froze in his bag. It was 15 with 15 mph winds. I think I used 6 heat packs. The course was fun and on a decent day scores could be amazing. One hole was cut out of rows of mature trees. It was 440 up hill, OB to the left and deep shule on right, and had a $100 bounty for a two. 2 people could not walk down the fairway with arms out, very tight-super staight. Almost a par 5. I took a five with OB and the rest of my card took 9's and 8's. I might as well get this out there. A week after WORLDS there is going to be an event at this course, Blue Ribbon Pines, and maybe non-sanctioned. $15,000 added cash. I asked if Timmy meant $1500, nope $15,000 added. I'm sure many big dogs will be there.
