Nice job Steve.

Final results, Steve won by 1 stroke. He and Huffman were tied going into the last hole. Steve got a 3 and the other dude got a 4. Way to play solid in the clutch.

Stephen Whitson 239
Ronnie Huffman 240
Dan Devries 240
Gaige McNutt 240
Jordan Rauch 243
Dana Vicich 245
Brendan Hickman 245
David Rosenbalm 246

Looks like after AM Worlds, we will have a new pro in Iowa!!!

Congrats Steve! That is huge, 326 advanced players. Can you post what you took home. I am interested with that size field. That has to be a great feeling winnining such a big event.

Thank you all for the congrats. It was an amazing weekend as always in BG. First I want to give a shout out to our crew that went down. Beachy, Greco, Snapple, Joe Cool, and ZMan. We had a fun trip. Dustin Fee caddied for me on the final nine and he did a phenominal job, and really helped calm my nerves. I kept asking him what I should throw and he just kept saying go with your guts. I think he was just as nervous as I was. I played 2 rounds where Will Ennis (last years champ) caddied for a guy in my group (Dutch). I kind of billed him as my good luck charm for the weekend, and he was right up there with me in the finals as well giving me tips. It is quite a feeling and I still haven't soaked it all in. Thanks again everybody, and I am glad that we have the champion in Des Moines.

Innova Discatcher (Galvanized)
A coupon for a free pair of Bite shoes (top 5 got this)
A stack of about 10 discs with the BG stamp, including a Buzzzz :D that says first place advanced, and a gold Wraith with 4x champ Rick Voakes stamped on it.

We were the last to leave the parking lot at White along with the Discraft Van. We hooked em up with some beers a bit earlier. So as they wre leaving they handed us all a FLX Surge and then started throwing discs out the window. So a big shout out them as well. I could go on for days with all the stories, so I will stop rambling. Thanks again everybody.

P.S. I am going to throw this out there so there are no surprises. My interview with DGTV was pathetic, so get ready for some laughs, if they even put it up.
